Welcome to Fiete and Duck Comics!

Fiete and Duck are a frog and a duck (as you may notice by Ducks name). They are queer, ambivert, mental health aware and so much more!

How did it all start?

First there was Duck. Leni was sitting on the streetcar sometime in April 2024 and was bored. So she simply drew a duck. A very cheeky duck. That became Duck!

Duck is a very cheeky duck! Super extroverted and loud! Duck loves croissants and simply eats everything in cafés. Duck loves coffee and summer. It's a great time to go swimming. But life alone, even that of a duck, is not so great at some point.

And because Duck got bored at some point, a somewhat less cheeky sidekick was created in a café in Heidelberg: Fiete was born!

Fiete is a rather quiet, thoughtful frog who plays the trombone, loves French rolls and is also a talented barista.

Fiete and Duck have developed over the months. Leni tried out different types of paper and pens. Until Fiete and Duck looked like this and now feel very comfortable in their phenotypes.

What do the two of them do all day long? Fiete and Duck like to sleep in. They go out for coffee, but only specialty coffee! They both like to read. Bake and go hiking. Or simply do nothing!

And what they are both very good at: Being there for each other! Sometimes the world is too big and too loud and too bad for Fiete. Then Duck is always there to help Fiete. Whether it's building a cabin that Fiete can't get out of for three days because Fiete needs space to himself. Or that the two of them escape into the silence of the forest to just be there.
