How New Europeans UK supported thousands of EU citizens — and why monthly supporters are essential for what comes next

In 2025, New Europeans UK continued its mission to ensure that Europeans living in the UK can access their rights, secure their status, and feel supported in the communities they call home.
Our latest Impact Report shows what can be achieved when people come together in solidarity — advisors, volunteers, partners, and supporters working side by side to ensure that no one is left behind.
Behind every statistic is a real person: a parent navigating complex immigration rules, an older citizen struggling with digital status, or a vulnerable individual needing trusted advice at a critical moment.
A year of real impact

Over the past year, New Europeans UK has provided direct support to thousands of people across the country.
In 2025 we:
Supported 1,451 people with guidance on the EU Settlement Scheme and related rights
Delivered 56 outreach events, advice sessions and community activities
Assisted 717 vulnerable individuals through intensive casework support
Helped submit 76 complex applications securing people’s right to remain in the UK
Received more than 14,567 access visits to our online Resource Hub
Our advisors supported communities facing multiple barriers, including members of Somali, Romanian and Roma communities, older citizens, and those experiencing digital exclusion.
This work is practical, human and often life-changing.
Supporting communities where help Is needed most
Many of the people we support face challenges that go beyond paperwork. Language barriers, lack of digital access, and changing immigration systems can create uncertainty and isolation.
Through community outreach and trusted partnerships, we provide accessible advice and advocacy that helps people understand their rights and build stability for themselves and their families.
Alongside frontline support, we continue to advocate for fair and inclusive policies by engaging with government, Parliament and international institutions — ensuring that the lived experiences of Europeans in the UK inform decision-making.
Why ongoing support matters
Demand for independent immigration advice and community support continues to grow, while funding for advice services across the UK remains uncertain.
To sustain and expand this work, we are iviting you to join our Friends Network, a community of monthly supporters helping make our work possible throughout the year.
