Coming next week in the Cognitive Republic

A brief reminder: the next section of the Cognitive Republic (Opens in a new window) will drop next week - I will be keeping up an approximately fortnightly publishing schedule.

I had intended that next time, I would start developing the argument that liberal democracies must reinvent themselves as learning systems.

However, before doing that, I will instead have a short interlude, where I examine (somewhat critically…) the conventional response to the problems were facing - best summarised by the phrase ‘let’s do some incremental tinkering’. We need to do more and better than fudge around the edges of the problems besetting us - incremental tinkering isn’t going to cut it.

Chapter 1 section is live for all to read. The next section is on the way. Join now to catch up before the next installment drops.

And as a recap on last time, just click here (free to read): The Unfinished Contract —Our Democracies Must Learn or Die (Part One) (Opens in a new window)

The first Founding Citizens of the Cognitive Republic are joining from Ireland, the USA, and Greece.

Democracy’s travails aren’t just a local problem:- there’s a global need for new thinking. Join them:
