Not only spring has finally sprung! Less than a month to go before we release a new song! Also: Go get yourself a ticket to our June show!

‘5 Grad’

The release date for our new single is fixed: from 20th March, you will finally be able to listen to new ERNST music!

Our new song is a little different from what we’ve come up with so far.

Does it lack melancholy? No. Does it do without guitars, synth & haromonies? Of course not. After all, we’re still ERNST!

However, we tried something new: We’ve split the song into two parts — and it’s trilingual.

Pre-Pride Riot!

We’re planning another gig in Vienna!

It will take place on the night before Vienna Pride Parade.

In times, when authoritarian regimes are threatening to overhaul the progress we’ve made when it comes to acceptance of diversity, it is more important than ever to stand up as allies. ✊🏳️‍🌈

This is why I’d like to dedicate the night to Pride and the protest that is necessary.

Global Women*s General Strike

Perhaps you’ve read about it on social media already:

The Global Women*s General Strike will take place on 9th March: Read more about it here (Opens in a new window) and here (Opens in a new window).

Back in October, Dan and I performed a few songs for the last women’s strike #Stillgelegt (this part is happening again in a few cities before the protest march) in front of the Vienna parliament.

It was beautiful to see how many people showed up back then!

This time there won’t be any musical acts during the strike but I still wanted to promote it as I’ll be taking part and think it’s a great way to show that we’ve had enough of inequality and want to turn things around! ✊

It would be great if you come join us in Vienna (or any of the other cities that take part). Hopefully see you there! 🫶
