Hi, I'm Nick. Documentary filmmaker, cinematographer and colorist from Lake Constance. For the past three years I was behind the camera of THE LAST PLACES - Path to the Roots, filmed together with Markus Mauthe, Diáka Koroma and Joan Riera across South Sudan, Angola, Cameroon and Nigeria.
This Friday, July 10, we're doing something unusual with it. We're releasing the complete, award-winning film on YouTube, for free, in an Extended Cut with a Nigeria chapter nobody has seen before. Free, because the people who opened their villages and lives to us should be able to watch their own story. No paywall, no borders.
