Offal is a mysteriously produced 'audio zine' transmission, lovingly crafted from the finest literary leftovers, satirical scraps, and warm tranches of absurdist monologue, all set to a soundtrack of the outer reaches of ambient, jazz, techno, hip hop, jungle and electronica, and occasionally interrupted by corporate transmissions from its sinister parent company Offal Industries.

Since launch in 2023, Offal episodes have been individually delivered via WhatsApp on a virtual phone number to anyone who asks for one, but the growing audience has made this increasingly impractical and caused arthritis in one Offal editor's thumb. With the imminent arrival of the feverishly awaited second edition of the Offal print publication, Offal Industries is finally getting things on to a more sustainable platform.

We'll continue to send out snippets via WhatsApp for the real heads, but Steady allows us more flexibility to do fun things, and – by popular and increasingly irate demand – now lets you listen to Offal in a way that works better for you.

All Offal episodes are still FREE to enjoy – but there's MORE!

Now you can play them right here on the site instead of fiddling around in WhatsApp, as well as being able to subscribe via RSS to put Offal in whatever podcast player you use to listen to other lesser offerings (subscribe to the newsletter to get the RSS link).

We want to keep creating more of the Offal episodes you know and love, featuring old faves such as Kenneth & Dear's ongoing adventures in codependence, Gabriel Clickbait's incisive news reports and unique excursions such as Slipmatt & Lime's Rave Detective Agency... plus special episodes for Halloween, national elections, royal coronations and other events we deem of great importance.
