the bRAVEs: How did you get into music?

Ly Sas: For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to sound. Discovering new music was always a source of excitement for me, it was more than a hobby, it felt like a calling. In school, I began experimenting with different styles, instruments and sounds, just exploring out of curiosity. Over time, that curiosity deepened into a passion for sound design, recording, and music creation. Eventually, I found myself fully immersed in producing music on my own, so it felt like a natural progression.”

the bRAVEs: What does electronic music mean to you?

Ly Sas: Electronic music is the heart of my creative practice. My background in heavy metal still influences how I think about the sound, bringing a sense of intensity, emotional weight, and structure. What draws me to electronic music is the freedom to shape every element, to design sound with intention and precision. It’s a space where emotion and technicality meet. Beyond the sound itself, the culture of electronic music, for its values of unity, freedom, and experimentation deeply resonates with me. I’m proud to be part of a community that embraces diversity, freedom, and connection.

the bRAVEs: How do you divide your time between producing, DJ practice, promo and private life? Does it happen spontaneously or do you have a strict plan?

Ly Sas: I try to maintain a steady rhythm in my days, with some structure but enough flexibility to follow the flow of the work. Mornings are usually for more technical or administrative tasks like promo, organize, listening with a clear head. I tend to leave creative work like producing or digging into new ideas for the evening, when things feel more open. So it’s not a strict plan, but it’s definitely not random either. Over time, you learn how your own creative cycles work and try to align your schedule with that.

the bRAVEs: You were born in Georgia, have lived in Prague and are now in Berlin. Is there a connection for you to these places or are they all different?

Ly Sas: Between living in Prague and moving to Berlin, I spent five years in Tbilisi, so Berlin is still relatively new to me as a full-time home. But what I’ve experienced through music is that, while each city has its own unique atmosphere and energy, the connection between people in this scene goes beyond borders. Our community is built on shared values and a deep love for the music, and that creates a sense of belonging wherever you are. The cities themselves all have something in common, buildings, sounds, a pulse, but each one and each space offers a different perspective and influence. That contrast has shaped me both personally and artistically.

the bRAVEs: What do you think connects Ukraine and Georgia?

Ly Sas: First and foremost, both Ukraine and Georgia are facing difficult political challenges right now, which inevitably shapes the lives and spirits of their people. Musically, I’ve heard countless incredible stories about the vibrant party scenes in Ukraine. I believe that shared struggle gives the dancefloor a unique strength, a place where pain transforms into unity and collective power.

the bRAVEs: How can music makers and nightlife creators use music as a tool for changes?

Ly Sas: Music is a powerful tool, as it reflects where we are and hints at where we could go. For artists and nightlife creators, it’s not just about sound, but about shaping culture and experience. These spaces allow us to challenge norms, foster unity, and spark new ways of thinking. If we approach it with intention, music can be a force for real change socially, culturally, even spiritually.

the bRAVEs: What's on your agenda for the near future?

Ly Sas: I’ve been deeply immersed in the studio, reshaping my sound after a period of reflection. I’m preparing releases that truly represent my vision of techno by being powerful, and honest. Alongside that, I’m developing my own label, a platform to express that understanding and push boundaries. On top of the music, there are exciting festival appearances and opportunities to connect with new audiences in cities I haven’t played before. It’s about growth, exploration, and staying true to the core of the music.
