This space exists to support independent journalism and analysis focused on politics, hybrid warfare, and their impact on democratic societies — particularly in the Western Balkans, Europe, and Ukraine.
It includes notes drawn from long-form analysis, investigative reporting, and ongoing documentation of how authoritarianism, disinformation, hybrid threats, and war shape the world today.
The front lines of conflict and authoritarian power are no longer only geographic or military. They now run through information systems, institutions, media, economies, and everyday public life. This space reflects that shift — treating politics, hybrid warfare, and democracy not as separate fields, but as interlinked dimensions of the same reality.
In times of increasing pressure and hostility toward independent reporters, analysts, and thinkers, support helps make it possible to continue this work with the time, care, and editorial independence it requires.
Remaining independent and truthful in post-truth and post-shame times is a daily challenge and a core ethical and professional responsibility. Supporting the independent work of journalists, analysts, and thinkers helps sustain the conditions under which truth, freedom, and democracy can function.
