#20, 8.3 – Besuchsbericht / Visit Report

Im April hatte ich bereits die beeindruckenden H0-Anlagen der „Modellbahn Freunde Buir“ besucht und darüber berichtet. Beim nächsten Besuchertag am 9. August war ich erneut vor Ort – und entdeckte diesmal etwas, das mir beim ersten Besuch entgangen war:

Eine Tür mit einer Treppe ins Dachgeschoss.

Unter einem wunderschönen Holz-Dachstuhl befindet sich dort eine große Spur-0-Anlage, auf der verschiedene Züge ihre Runden drehten. Die Modulanlage ist noch nicht vollständig ausgestaltet, hier steht eindeutig der Fahrbetrieb im Mittelpunkt.

Trotzdem ist sie eine tolle Ergänzung zu den H0-Anlagen eine Etage tiefer – und die Gelegenheit, eine Spur-0-Anlage mit so vielen Details live zu sehen, hat man nicht oft.

Der nächste Besuchertag findet im Dezember statt. Der Eintritt ist frei, Spenden sind willkommen.

In April, I visited the impressive H0 layouts of the “Modellbahn Freunde Buir” and shared my impressions here. On the next open day, August 9th, I returned – and this time I discovered something I had completely missed before:

A door leading to a staircase up to the attic.

There, under a beautiful wooden roof truss, I found a large O-scale layout where various trains were running. The modular layout is not yet fully landscaped, with the main focus clearly on train operations.

Nevertheless, it’s a wonderful addition to the H0 layouts one floor below – and it’s not every day you get to see an O-scale layout with such a level of detail in person.

The next open day will take place in December. Admission is free, and donations are welcome.
