Your Steady URL is changing — here's what you need to know

Hello media maker,

I’ve got an update to share. We’re moving to a friendlier, easier-to-share domain.

Starting now, your project’s URL will switch from steadyhq.com (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) to steady.page (Öffnet in neuem Fenster).

Why the change?

  • It’s easier to remember — Shorter, cleaner, and more intuitive.

  • It’s easier to pronounce — No more spelling it out during podcast intros!

  • It’s more personal — The new domain gives your page a custom, creator-focused feel.

What you need to know

No action is required on your end, but we do recommend updating the link in your bios for SEO benefits.

If you're already linking to your Steady page in your bios or elsewhere, here's everything you need to know in a quick FAQ. And if you're not linking it yet... this is your sign to start 😉

FAQ

1. What happens if I don’t update my URL?
Nothing breaks — users who visit your old steadyhq.com (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) URL will be automatically redirected to the new steady.page (Öffnet in neuem Fenster) address.

2. Will this affect any Steady integrations on my website?
Not at all. All existing Steady integrations will continue working exactly as they do now.

3. Why should I update my URL?
Because it helps your SEO. The more backlinks you (and Steady as a whole) get to the new domain, the easier it will be for people to find your page through search engines.

4. Can I customise my domain?
Not yet — but juicy stuff is cooking at Steady. Stay tuned!
