As we have a lot of stuff to cover in the next few weeks, we divided this month’s edition of the newsletter into two parts:

Our new single

Umsonst (English: in vain), released at midnight tonight, is a song in German that deals with the wonderful topic of powerlessness.

Remember the Oscar-worthy music video by Matak Studios (Opens in a new window) for our last single No, Virginia, no!?

Well, for Umsonst we had neither time nor budget for a professional music video. Therefore, this video is a pure ERNST production — full of our weirdest humour. And cake! 😅

Dan finally got the big performance he’s always wanted — showing off his talents of egg juggling & dancing (but certainly NOT baking! 😬🫣).

He’s expecting a Grammy nomination any day now …

Merch!

Additionally: We finally got some new merch T-Shirts — ready for you to purchase at our Album Release Show (29 April at Flucc Vienna) OR now already — together with our vinyl and the ticket to the show (Opens in a new window).

By popular demand, we made a LIMITED EDITION of ERNST socks in purple and yellow with the lettering “WE ARE MISFITS”, inspired by Don’t Buy It.

What else is coming up?
