Denmark plans to abolish the VAT on books to boost reading skills. The move comes in response to weak PISA results: 24 percent of 15-year-olds struggle to understand simple texts—four percentage points more than ten years ago. Philippines establish new marine protected area
The Philippines have officially designated the Bitaug Marine Protected Area. Covering nearly 150 hectares, it is the largest protected area in Siquijor province and hosts a rich variety of species, including corals, turtles, and sharks. Fishing for sharks and rays is prohibited. Eco-tourism activities like snorkeling and diving are allowed, with the revenues going directly to local communities. Source: MONGABAY

New nanobody technology targets tumors precisely
A new nanobody technology could deliver chemotherapy directly to tumor tissue. Researchers at KRIBB in Korea tested the tiny antibody fragments in animal models and human mini-tumors.
