When it's hot during the day, I take my dog for a longer walk by the river in the evening. Our ritual: sitting on the riverbank and watching the sun go down. I get the feeling that my dog senses it too—how everything suddenly seems quieter. Studies now confirm that sunsets are good for the soul.
