Healing The Orphan Within - Podcast

My “Healing The Orphan Within” podcast is out now on my YouTube channel.

Thoughts but also tools for healing are shared.

I understand this may not be for everyone but my intention is that those who need help may be helped in some way.

We have to fight as society for our children facing abuse within the parental home.

We talk about all sorts of issues around children but we ignore the most basic: domestic violence camouflaged as normal or as “discipline”.

Domestic violence experienced over decades and psychological control and manipulation is not a spanking on the hand but it is as if people avoid looking at it while hiding their own wounds, their PTSD and even wonder “why am I like that?” when the whole world gaslights us that the abuse we received as children for decades was “normal” so we don’t understand why we are broken inside.

Children have no agency of their own, they are at the mercy of whether their parents will turn out to be decent human beings or controlling tyrants.

This is not OK.

This needs to change and it will only change when we openly talk about it and educate the collective on this trauma and how to HEAL from it so that we don’t become that which traumatised us.
