Do you need a Middle-earth inspired shelf company?

I have been scouring the net for all things Tolkien ever since the first search engines appeared - WebCrawler (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre), Lycos (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre), HotBot (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre), Yahoo! Search (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre), Ask.com (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre) etc. And about twenty years ago I started seeing very odd search results like Middle Earth Leod UG & Co. KG, Middle Earth Lorlas Verwaltung UG, Aachen, or Middle Earth Lorlas Salrol UG & Co. KG.

There seems to be a reason for that - or rather, an individual running a very particular service. A shelf company company. 😅
