Thanks to Ian Collier I was reminded of a series of short introductory films the British Council produced in the 1940s. Well over a hundred of them - from Architects of England (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre) over Merseyside (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre) to Development of the Rabbit (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre).
