About this project

Part III deals with loss and emerging from it with the support of natural landscapes. Produced by Jovan Ducret and written by me.

Roots Of Old - speaks of magic buried in the land that I bumped on when hiding in the woods to heal my broken heart. The elemental forces and divinity of nature bringing forth realisations and enlightenment within.

Orphans - speaks of childhood abuse trauma and the aftermath of the decision to walk away from one’s family of origin, finding the light amidst such an unnatural experience.

Omens - is probably my favourite song on this release and it speaks of noticing signs in nature that the time of heartbreak is finally coming to an end. The birds, the trees, the soil, the tears and the realisation that with dedication to one’s soul truth, a seed can grow even if it started out broken… and some things are not even our own job to fix but we were always meant to let go and let God.

Whether these songs lift you up or make you think… is the wild card here. As always with art it needs the beholder to translate and decode it. So decode it as it most helps you with your journey.
