The Maldives has become the first country in the world to ban smoking for an entire generation: anyone born after January 1, 2007, will never be able to legally purchase tobacco or vape products. The law aims to protect young people permanently from addiction and health damage. Source: DW

World’s first highway where electric cars can charge on the go
France has launched the world’s first highway that can wirelessly charge electric vehicles while driving. On a 1.5-kilometer stretch of the A10 near Paris, buses, cars, and trucks can all be powered simultaneously. Stockholm is building the world’s largest wooden neighborhood
In Stockholm’s “Sickla” district, an entire neighborhood made of wood is taking shape. The “Wood City” will provide 7,000 new jobs and 2,000 new apartments. Greece strengthens its water supply for the future
