It’s Friday

It’s Friday and these are the drawings of the week.

Inkfriday 17 Shell (Abre numa nova janela)

EN: A4 ink drawing in black and sepia: A giant empty snail shell rests like a monumental structure in a dark landscape. Small human figures walk toward the oversized shell, surrounded by trees and rough textures. (Abre numa nova janela)

Space Cop Diary 7 (new Episode) (Abre numa nova janela)

Page of Sketchbook Webcomic Space Cop Diary Episode 7 (Abre numa nova janela)

A new episode of Space Cop Diary, finally. Check out the post on kplx.art (Abre numa nova janela). You’ll find an overview of all pages here (Abre numa nova janela). It’s a sketchbook comic, so it’s often quite rough and sketchy. But somehow, I’m starting to like that approach more and more.

Large-scale black-and-white acrylic painting 1,5mx2m on 12 canvases (50 x 50 cm each): An astronaut sits calmly on a small asteroid-like planet in space beside a classic gramophone. Music rises from the horn as a glowing, flowing trail with small musical notes, drifting farther into the starry sky, turning into stardust and blending into the universe. (Abre numa nova janela)

I painted this piece in black and white acrylic on 12 canvases, each 50 × 50 cm. The canvases are connected with magnetic strips, allowing them to form one large composition. The biggest Kplx Artwork. Timelapse-Video: YouTube (Abre numa nova janela)

Several days went into this painting, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately, depending on the platform, it can easily get lost, so I’d really appreciate it if you shared it.

This painting could work well for the next exhibition in Aachen.

The Great Mission (Abre numa nova janela)

Was zum…“ Dann entdeckt er einen Felsen mit den Nachrichten: „Bob was here“, „Me too, damn“, „Are you kidding me?“, „Me too, thought I was the first“, „Me too“. Im letzten Panel sitzt er enttäuscht da.

You can find more images in the post that aren’t attached here, as I didn’t want to make the email too large. So it’s best to check out the post on kplx.art (Abre numa nova janela) via the link (Abre numa nova janela).

These were the drawings of the week, and I have to say, things are going really well at the moment. I’m not sure how long I can keep up this pace of drawing so much, but one thing is certain: without the support through Patreon and Steady, I wouldn’t be able to invest nearly as much time into my artwork. The next large canvases are already waiting here, and I’m looking forward to creating new artworks. If you’d like to support my work, sharing it on social media also helps a lot and costs nothing. I’m not a big fan of constantly asking for that, but every now and then people tell me they’re not seeing my posts anymore. After spending so many hours on a piece, it’s a bit frustrating when some images simply disappear into the algorithm void.

Anyway, I’m glad you’re here. Have a great weekend and take care!

All the best,

René
