The Tolkien Lecture (Opens in a new window), at home with Pembroke College (Opens in a new window), has been running since 2013 and has welcomed a veritable Who is Who of modern-day fantasy writers. I finally managed to participate this year for Maria Dahvana Headley (Opens in a new window).
Birmingham University (Opens in a new window) started out its own Annual Tolkien Lecture in 2022 - with Dimitra Fimi - and this year's GoH was John Garth (Opens in a new window).
