The ancient Greek gods do make an appearance in our film. Not as living gods, since we do not acknowledge their existence or divinity, but as the lifeless idols they are. Even in Panteleimon’s dream sequence, where reality can be distorted easily, we stayed true to this idea, and featured them as moving statues instead of giving them organic bodies.
