Road trip through Southern Germany

As I write these lines, I am sitting in Oberstdorf, in the German Alps. It has become pleasantly cool after some very extreme crazy heat days.

It is the last stop of a road trip through southern Germany. Freiburg - Rheingau - Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Nuremberg - Innsbruck - Oberstdorf... I honestly don't have time to share any in-depth photography content at the moment.

But I can give a few insights into some of the stops, through the short videos I regularly publish on YouTube.

Ein Roadtrip durch das südliche Deutschland

Während ich diese Zeilen schreibe, sitze ich in Oberstdorf, in den deutschen Alpen. Es ist angenehm kühl geworden nach sehr extremen, verrückten Hitzetagen.

Es ist die letzte Etappe auf einem Roadtrip durch das südliche Deutschland. Freiburg - Rheingau - Frankfurt - Heidelberg - Nürnberg - Innsbruck - Oberstdorf… momentan komme ich nicht dazu, tiefere Inhalte der Fotografie mitzuteilen. 

Aber ich kann ein paar Einblicke in die verschiedenen Etappen geben. Das geht am besten durch die kleinen Shorts, die ich immer wieder auf YouTube publiziere.

Nuremberg (June 2025)

In Nuremberg, I was invited to lead a photo walk and give an artist talk on the topic "From the Personal to the Universal" at the Leica Store. Both activities were well attended, and above all, we had a lot of exchange and fun.

Nürnberg (Juni 2025)

In Nürnberg wurde ich eingeladen, einen Fotowalk zu leiten und einen Artist Talk zum Thema “Vom Persönlichen zum Universellen” im Leica Store zu halten. Beide Aktivitäten waren gut besucht und wir hatten vor allem viel Austausch und Spaß.

And in Oberstdorf, in the German Alps, I was invited to present my series on Brazilian floodplains in the context of the topic WATER :-)

Und in Oberstdorf in den deutschen Alpen darf ich meine Serie zu brasilianischen Überschwemmungswäldern im Rahmen des Themas WASSER ausstellen :-)
