Isabeau Levito: “I will experiment”

Isabeau Levito is only 19 years old, but already has a World silver medal from 2024 and three fourth place finishes at Worlds under her belt. We met Isabeau at the Peak Ice Camp in Courmayeur, Italy. Over a cappuccino, she discussed her programs and plans for the upcoming season.

The season is over and summer has started. How did you recover from that the long Olympic season?

Isabeau: I haven't! I really haven't because right after Worlds I was on tour. Then I was home for actually four hours and I went to Canada for my short program choreography with Lori Nichol and Carolina Kostner. From there, I went straight to here (Courmayeur) so I haven't been home yet since Worlds in March.

So you have been living out of your suitcase.

Isabeau: Yes! Well, I went home for four hours to change my suitcase. After this I'm taking time off at home. I don't need to go anywhere, I just need to stay home. I'm an hour away from the shore, I can figure it out. I’ll be with my friends, and my coach, and my mom.
