Lecture by Pratibha Goswami

In this satsang, Pratibha continues with Vilapa Kusumanjali, concluding Verse 8 (Part 2), a sincere prayer expressing deep longing:

“O Goddess! I'm helpless and afflicted in the middle of an ocean of sorrow! Please take me to the wonderful abode of Your lotus feet in the powerful boat of Your mercy.”

🕊️ At 26:00, the focus shifts to Verse 9, which speaks of the pain of separation:

“O Goddess! This person has died from the bites of the black snake of separation from You. Please revive me with the medicinal lac that anoints Your lotus feet.”

This session offers a thoughtful reflection on these verses and their meaning, guided by Pratibha’s steady and heartfelt approach. You will hear several very sweet leelas about Radha-Krishna and Rasik devotees.

Trailer: Krishna fails painting Radha's lotus feet

3:34 min

In this līlā, Kṛṣṇa is asked by Śrī Rādhā to paint Her feet with red lac (lākha). But He trembles and weeps so much in love and reverence that He cannot perform the service. Tulasī Mañjarī gently intervenes, sending Him away and taking over the task. Still, Kṛṣṇa is overjoyed simply to behold the lotus feet of Rādhe-jū.

Trailer: Radha gets angry on Krishna

4:38 min.

During the Mahā-rāsa-līlā, the divine dance with the gopīs, Śrī Rādhā, moved by a touch of sweet jealousy, leaves the circle in a playful mood of anger (māninī). At once, Kṛṣṇa senses a loss of joy and realizes that it is Rādhā’s absence behind it. Pratibha Goswami explains that without Rādhā, Kṛṣṇa is only the impersonal Brahman. His rasa (feeling), rūpa (form), and līlā (divine play) all arise only through Śrīmatī Rādhārāṇī.

Trailer: The story of Nagar baba

6:36 min.

The story of Nagar Baba, an authentic incident described in the Bhaktamal, tells of his deep absorption in leela-smaran—meditation on the divine pastimes of Rādhā and Kṛṣṇa. When his hair became entangled in a tree, he chose not to free himself, but waited silently for Kṛṣṇa to come. In this unwavering devotion, he received darśan not only of Kṛṣṇa but also of Rādhā. Overwhelmed with bliss, he left his body in that sacred moment.

Full version, verse 8.2 and 9.1

1:09:00 h, verse 9 starts at 26:00 min

Inspired by verse 8 of Vilāpa-kusumāñjali, Pratibha shares the story of Śabarī-sakhī. Śrī Rādhā becomes upset with Kṛṣṇa for missing their meeting, as He was delayed with other gopīs. In her displeasure, she forbids Him from entering the kuñja. Kṛṣṇa, eager to see her, devises a playful trick: He disguises Himself as Śabarī-sakhī, a bangle seller, and enters the kuñja in that form—ultimately pleasing Rādhā through His clever devotion.
