Da sterben sie dahin, die Ehemänner von Stacey. Im Abstand von 7 Jahren müssen zwei dran glauben – und zunächst glaubt auch jeder Stacey die trauernde Witwe, die sie haareraufend zum Besten gibt. Wenngleich es etwas ungewöhnlich scheint, dass sie ihre Ehemänner aus praktischen Gründen direkt nebeneinander bestatten lässt. Um dann aber doch nicht nicht zum Gießen hinzugehen, sondern eine im Haushalt verfügbare Schuldige am plötzlichen Gattentod zu suchen, die sie obendrein als ihre „beste Freundin“ bezeichnet.
