Study from Denmark: HPV vaccine is effective
HPV vaccines can protect against specific virus strains that cause cervical cancer. A recent study from Denmark shows just how effective they are: The high-risk HPV types 16 and 18 were nearly completely eliminated. Researchers analyzed cervical cell samples from about 9,000 women. Barcelona sets up over 400 climate houses to combat the heat
Never before has it been this hot so early in the year in Barcelona — a serious challenge for local residents. In response, the city has created over 400 climate shelters. AI-controlled robot performs first autonomous gallbladder operation
Researchers at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore have developed an AI-powered robot that has, for the first time, successfully removed a gallbladder entirely on its own — without any human assistance. The operation, performed on a model patient, was completed successfully. Source: THE GUARDIAN

More children are intentionally taking digital breaks
According to an international survey of 20,000 participants across 18 countries, 40% of 12- to 15-year-olds are now choosing to take breaks from smartphones, tablets, and computers — twice as many as in 2022. The main reason? They want to protect their mental health. Source: THE GUARDIAN

Three African World Heritage Sites are no longer classified as endangered
UNESCO has removed three African sites from its List of World Heritage in Danger, including the Rainforests of Atsinanana in Madagascar and the Old Town of Ghadames in Libya. The decision comes after successful conservation efforts. Globally, 53 sites are still considered endangered. Source: NDTV
