I would like to make special mention of this, not only because I happen to know Bill personally and appreciate him immensely for his outstanding work, always going above and beyond, but because he certainly one of the nicest, supportive people I have ever met in the Tolkien community at large.
Why you should be happy for him and the honour bestowed upon him I would love to summarize in this short news piece.
