Ab 2026 planen wir, jedes Jahr zum Saisonbeginn eine neue Version von WE ARE FOOTBALL zu veröffentlichen.

Unsere erste Version wird WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 heißen und Stand jetzt am Donnerstag, den 21. August 2026 (19:00 Uhr) zum Preis von 19,99 Euro erscheinen.

Bitte beachte, dass eine Mitgliedschaft hier bei Steady keinen Key für das fertige Spiel enthält. Sie hilft uns aber extrem, das Spiel besser zu machen. So können wir z.B. beim User Interface und beim 3D-Match weitere Fortschritte erzielen. Schon kleine Beiträge können den Unterschied machen, ob wir z.B. eine bestimmte Sprachversion weiter anbieten können oder nicht.

DLCs etc. gibt es bei uns nicht, wir werden voraussichtlich jedoch zusätzlich ein Supporter Pack anbieten, welches aber keine spielrelevanten Inhalte enthalten wird.

Im Laufe des Jahres nach dem Release unterstützen wir die aktuelle Version jeweils mit zusätzlichen kostenlosen Updates.

Sollte WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 erfolgreich sein, könnt ihr das als Mäzene direkt am Nachfolger-Meter sehen, so dass nach dem Release relativ schnell klar werden wird, ob die Serie fortgesetzt wird.

In-Game-Käufe gibt es bei WAF auch in Zukunft nicht. Alle Editoren zum Spiel sind kostenfrei direkt enthalten.

Release Strategy

From 2026 onwards, we plan to release a new version of WE ARE FOOTBALL every year at the start of the season.

Our first version will be called WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 and, as things stand, is set to be released on Thursday 21 August 2026 (7.00 pm) at a price of €19.99.

Please note that a membership here on Steady does not include a key for the finished product. However, it helps us enormously to improve the game. For example, it allows us to make further progress on the user interface and the 3D match. Even small contributions can make the difference between whether we can continue to offer a particular language version or not.

We do not offer DLCs etc., but we do plan to offer a Supporter Pack, which will not contain any game-related content.

There are no in-game purchases in WAF and we won’t have them in the future. All game editors will ship with the game at no additional cost.

In the year following the release, we will support the current version with additional free updates.

Should WE ARE FOOTBALL 2027 be successful, you as Patrons (“Mäzene”) will be able to see this directly on our sequel meter, so it will become clear relatively quickly after the release whether the series will continue.
