About five minutes after being asked if I would pen short movie recommendation for you, our cherished and learned members of Club LWLies, my email inbox pinged with the first trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’s upcoming film, Bugonia (S'ouvre dans une nouvelle fenêtre). And for those who are tracking such things, it is a remake of the 2003 South Korean film by director Jang Joon-hwan which arrived in UK cinemas at the height of a wave of extreme work to come out of Asia.
