Those days are over. But why not read here my thoughts around the album?

An album about dualities.

Right now, live at this very moment, we’re loosing the ability to live with dualities. Everything has to be well defined in one box, one style, one direction and we don’t see, that if we move on like this at the end there’s left only a deadly boring streamlined average.
The algorithms of the big networks punish us when something is too wild, too soft, too colorful, too grey, too often, too few, too far away from the path that everybody goes.
 And so called „AI“ pretend to give us one and only one true answer to everything and the rest – which in the end is just the most probable average. But it sounds so nice and comfy!

Fashion?

I could not care less
Fashion is, what the machine gives you to suppress your hunger for something real. Better ignore it. Fashion’s the opposite of life.

Wheel of Fortune

Dare – or not?
Are you ready for a change? Are you open for whatever the wheel will bring you? But you should know: If you turn the wheel it always will bring you something – no matter if you have to live with a allegedly big win or with a first sight loose. And once the wheel started turning there’s no way to stop it, no way back.

Are you sure you’re ready? Go for it!

Unhappy – happy
When I came home from my first trip to the north I couldn’t help but notice, how unhappy everybody was here. No matter what happened, the northern people seemed able to welcome it all with a friendly relaxed „Hej“. It made me think a lot.

Kattegat

Rough and calm
When you’re in Denmark there is a magical place at the most northern point where you can see two oceans – the rough Northern see and the calm but tricky Kattegat – come together. Also when you’re in Denmark you can see people who are absolute clearly the descendant of bearded vikings – and the nicest people at the same time.
This is about this duality, this is about sitting at the shoreline of the Kattegat.

me – you
Meeting other souls can be the most exiting moment but so often we let this chance just pass because on the very first sight we see details that doesn’t seem to fit. Too often we’re not able to open up and take look behind the surface and meet all the glorious adventures another person brings with him.

Before – after
Most people think, that they are „ready“ at a certain point of their lives. Learned enough, seen enough, discovered enough and everything that comes after is just unwanted modern crap. What a misunderstanding. We’re learning every single minute and life can bring you the biggest and most surprising changes whenever it comes to it’s funny mind – if you just live a little open minded a teeny tiny bit.

Not for Fun

A song about war
There’s been a lot of talk about being a pacifist in the last time. As usual there was no place for differentiation and the discussion quickly was brought down to: „If u call yourself a pacifist, you don’t allow people to defend themselves“ What a crap:
Everybody should defend himself, if needed with weapons and war.
 But nobody should celebrate it. Though today the machine tries to make it look like a heroic group adventure trip, war always has been and forever will be the saddest thing on earth. And it will always end with the ones left alone at an open grave with some sad trumpet playing.

Shiny or not
A Dysons Sphere is a hypothetical perfect sphere in space. Today people often are looking for the perfect place, the perfect mood, the perfect atmosphere around them: „Good vibes only“ is a common phrase to block even the tiniest disturbance in a shiny, allegedly perfect moment. But a perfect life is a hypothetical construct, too and this longing for perfection kills souls.

Leaving behind – coming home
Each time on my journeys to the north, somewhere on the motorway there is a moment, when I notice that I arrived in the country I love. With a long trip behind me, tired to the bone somewhere on the highway the rhythm of the street changes and shows me: I’m home. It’s a quiet moment, no flashing signs, no heroic jingle in the radio in my head.
So Always look out for the small things – the best changes often don’t come with a big bang.

About trying to adept
No one said it will be easy to be open and willing to change every now and then. Sometimes you might want to fight it ’cause it’s so comfy where you are right now. But changes will come whether you like it or not – but when you open up you make it easier for yourself and after a short irritating moment you will see a new flow. Most probably even with all the comfort you had before nicely integrated.

Waiting – Moving
People tend to be afraid of losing themselves, when they change. Just think of this magical truth: You can change, and take your old self with you. Bring your things, sort and pack them well and then hop on the train. You won’t lose, what you really need or what you really are.

Aware or just too frightened?
After a long trip the changes sometimes will seem too strange, to unknown, too weird. And of course it’s right – it’s good to be aware of traps and we must not fall for the shiny and comfy ways that the machine shows us to confuse us and to keep us running.
 But the better new ways can look to unfamiliar at the first moment. But dare to try!
