Catch us this Saturday at 5 pm in front of the sausage stand EXTRA WÜRSTEL!

Free acoustic set in Vienna
If you’ve been to Vienna, you know how much we love our sausage stands (Würstelstand, sing.). 🌭
They embody THE place for (late night) quick snacks, the equivalent to doner stands in Berlin.
You’ll encounter a diverse spectrum of people at any good Würstelstand — overhearing an interesting conversation and/or experiencing some real culture is a given.
You can imagine our delight when we were invited to play in front of one of these “cultural institutions” as part of the “Vienna Würstel Festival”. (Abre numa nova janela)
This year, the festival will take place in three venues (= in front of three sausage stands). On this map, you can see how they are quite central and, being close together, can be reached on foot.

This is the time table. We look forward to seeing you there. As it’s holiday season, we’ll be playing in a smaller constellation. Nonetheless, we’ll give our everything, of course! 😘

This was … Club Lucia
This “home gig” in Vienna was a special one, particularly because it was the first time we played with Flora on violion and vocals.
Moreover, there were many people who made this evening even more special:
Anna Ryndych took lovely pictures of the evening, which our friends from the band Blickkontakt opened.

Dee, sound and light technician (who also owns this wonderful bar Love & Poison (Abre numa nova janela) in the 7th district — go check it out!), who we’ve known since our second gig at Kramladen, made a special effort to take his shift on that day so he could do our sound. It was brilliant, as always! 🔊🥰
Our friend Alex Galler (the photographer who did the iconic pictures of us in front of the red shop front) even wrote a blog article (Abre numa nova janela) about the evening! 🥹
Even though we’d asked him to do a video for us which he delivered wonderfully …
https://youtu.be/ZjqIZ809Wo8?si=2JRWTsDEFCb9Sgqd (Abre numa nova janela)… he ALSO took the most amazing shots in front of Club Lucia (and from the stage). We are extremely grateful for his longstanding support!
Btw, it was the first time we had face make up done by professionals: Just look at what a great job Pia (Abre numa nova janela) & Vanessa (Abre numa nova janela):

I will end this newsletter edition with a little photo dump of the best pictures. 💜
Until next time!
Love, ERNST
