I’m writing this feeling very excited. This is not only due to the fact that it’s almost Summer and the temperatures in Vienna have risen to tropical overnight.

It’s also not only because it’s my birthday soon or because it’s the beginning of Pride month (although both are wonderful!)

I am excited mostly because we will be playing live again! Here is the updated “ERNST in June” schedule for you:

12 June: Pre-Pride Riot, Club Lucia, Vienna (the bar opens at 7 p.m.):
We will set the mood for Pride Parade on the next day ( 13 June), together with the indie band Blickkontakt (also from Vienna).
Oh, this is gonna be a very special night you don’t want to miss— with colourful outfits & makeup all the way!
Pre-sale tickets (Abre numa nova janela) are available until just before the gig (unless we run out !)

20 June: Sonnenparkfest St Pölten:
This intergenerational festival (Abre numa nova janela)brings together nature, music and art, offering a varied programme of live performances, workshops and hands-on activities for all ages. It starts already at 2 p.m. — you can see us live on stage at 7 p.m., alongside other cool bands. Free entry, come by train from Vienna :-)

A new face in ERNST

I already mentioned that Flora Winter will support us on her violin in a few songs in our next gig.

However, having practiced in the past weeks, we realised that our voices go together really well. 💗

Flora is an excellent singer — in fact, she studies singing. It has always been my dream to have a backing vocalist in ERNST, and now my dream has finally come true!

I am happy to announce that Flora has become a permanent member of our band!! 🥰

By the way, you can already see her play live with us at the aforementioned gigs…

We’ve gone Bandcamp!

Up until now, you were able to stream our music everywhere. As you might now, artists don’t get anything through these streaming platforms (unless you’re really huge).

You can, of course, still stream our songs for free. However, we’re happy to announce that now you can also support us through our Bandcamp website (Abre numa nova janela).
